FiscalNote Europe is actively looking to bring on its next great Intern to join its office in Brussels. We require curious and creative interns who are looking to take their passions for EU Affairs to the next level. The FiscalNote Europe internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in EU regulatory monitoring and analysis on several policy areas. We will provide the continuous training, coaching, and development you need to be successful, and in the end, we hope to give you a boost like no other organization is able. You will be supporting our teams by providing unrivaled services to our clients and partners.

About EU Issue Tracker Team at FiscalNote Europe
Fundamentally aligned with FiscalNote’s core mission of connecting the world to its governments, the EU Issue Tracker team helps its clients to identify regulatory opportunities and threats in the EU. Delivering objective, structured and accurate near real-time EU legislative and regulatory tracking and horizon-scanning, our clients gain a systematic edge in regulatory monitoring. Our dedicated team of analysts work with Product and Business Development Teams in delivering the right EU data and analysis to our client base at the right time. Insightful and diligent, the EU Issue Tracker team works in a fast-paced continuous learning environment where teamwork and subject matter expertise are vital for producing the reliable, high-quality analysis we are known for.

This internship is for 6 months.

What to Expect:

    • Carry out research tasks and baseline intelligence on a range of EU policy areas
    • Learn how to harness technology to improve intelligence gathering
    • Provide support with media and social media analysis
    • Contribute to a range of business development projects 

What Sets you Apart:

    • Recent Master's in EU Law or EU Affairs/Politics
    • Clear ability in conceptual thinking and analytical writing
    • Native or equivalent written and spoken English, plus other EU languages
    • Passionate about EU politics and affairs
    • Willing to learn both by doing and through formal training
    • Enjoy being part of a young, fast paced and dynamic team
    • Legally eligible to work in Belgium
