The recruitment for this role is being managed by FiscalNote's Recruiting team (parent company), so you are in the right place! Please continue to review this opportunity and apply at your interest. We are excited to review your background. Thank you!

About the Position
We are currently seeking graduate-level interns to join our APAC healthcare research team. While we have teams located in London and Singapore, we will consider remote candidates as well. While background in healthcare is helpful, the most important attribute we look for in this role is strong research skills and knowledge about the APAC region, ideally with a focus on Australia. Candidates with broader macroeconomic and regional political backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The intern will support members of the APAC healthcare research team with background research on healthcare policy trends, reimbursement trends, government budget analysis, as well as news monitoring and data analysis related to healthcare systems across the region, with a special focus on Australia. This research will feed into our written analysis and client presentations prepared for senior leaders at large healthcare multinationals with a presence across the APAC region.

What to Expect in this Position:

    • Conducting secondary research and news monitoring and analysis
    • Searching for relevant data and updating existing databases on healthcare indicators
    • Analyzing the business implications of trends and developments in Australia’s healthcare systems
    • Writing research deliverables that are concise and impactful for a senior executive reader

To further the intern’s development, we will:

    • Expose interns to different facets of emerging markets research on a regional and industry-specific basis
    • Provide a stimulating and collaborative work environment
    • Develop interns’ research and analytical skills
    • Provide interns with exposure to multinationals’ operations by shadowing client calls and presentations
    • Conduct regular trainings on healthcare topics and management issues
    • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to ensure skill development

What Sets You Apart:

    • A Bachelor's or preferably enrolled in a master’s degree program from a top-tier academic institution; candidates with degrees in regional studies, economics, or international relations are particularly encouraged to apply
    • Strong research skills
    • Solid writing and analytical skills
    • Interest or personal experience in any part of the APAC region, preferred in Australia
    • Healthcare background is a plus, but not required
    • Quick learner
    • Strong research, problem solving, and communication skills
    • Excellent writing skills in English
    • A team-oriented mindset
