About the Position
The contracted analyst for LATAM Healthcare Research is responsible for producing FrontierView’s suite of healthcare research products and advisory support for executives covering Mexico and Peru, as well as representing a broader LATAM-level narrative on the regional healthcare story. The team member has significant content oversight and analytical responsibility and will be expected to engage in extensive client advisory work for some of the most important markets for healthcare multinationals in LATAM. We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and deeply analytical individual with extensive experience and expertise in the region.

Please note this position is a Contractor Role. This contract would start with a 6 month contract with potential for renewal.

About the Team
The Analyst will be part of FrontierView’s global research team. The global research team produces all syndicated content for FrontierView’s client base of several thousand senior executives at multinational organizations. The team combines regional knowledge, macroeconomic and political insights, and business acumen to provide impactful analysis, forecasts, and executional advice for a senior executive audience. They work in close collaboration with the commercial team in supporting FrontierView’s growth strategy and ongoing client relationships. The healthcare research team is also responsible for producing syndicated content and analysis looking at healthcare systems, market access, and reimbursement as it relates to the operations of multinationals in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. 

About You
You bring a unique combination of qualities, including deep expertise in LATAM, healthcare systems, and how these interact with the operations of multinationals across the spectrum of healthcare companies, from medical devices and diagnostics to OTC and innovative pharma. Your ability to bring together analysis, insights, forecasts, and advisory work allows you to produce syndicated content as well as client presentations that influence the strategies and operational decisions of senior decision makers within the healthcare space.

What To Expect In This Position

    • Content production on healthcare system, market access and reimbursement trends in Mexico. This includes ongoing report writing, news analysis, and presentation production that cover the biggest healthcare themes across the markets you cover.
    • Responsible for providing inputs into the LATAM and Mexico-level narrative for healthcare companies to inform their budgeting and goal-setting processes
    • Extensive advisory work for clients, including ability to present to senior decision makers with P&L responsibilities across a variety of healthcare companies
    • Responsibility for setting the agenda in terms of topics and issues to cover, ways of bringing that syndicated content to clients, and selecting priority areas of further research work
    • Extensive partnership with the commercial team in supporting new business generation as well as renewals
    • Collaborative work with other members of the global healthcare research team on global and regional-level special research projects

What Sets You Apart

    • BA degree in international relations, economics, politics, policy, or business required
    • Knowledge of Mexico through education, personal experience and research work
    • 1 year of research experience; experience running client events is a plus
    • Some knowledge of Mexico's healthcare system, particularly through demonstrated research experience, is preferred but not required
    • Fluency in Spanish & English is required
    • Team player
    • Self-starter and innovative thinker, able to bring together macro analysis, understanding of healthcare systems, and client orientation to come up with the best ways of serving LATAM executives
