The Network Development Team at FLEXE thrives on finding and building relationships with warehouse providers who are a great fit for the FLEXE network.  We partner with our Sales Team to match the right customer with the right warehouse partner.

We are searching for an entrepreneurial candidate to come on board as a Warehouse Solutions Director.  This role will partner with the Network Development and Sales teams to deliver broad and complex warehousing solutions for key client accounts.   

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of operations management and sales experience with a Tier 1 3PL and be experienced with a range of operations including Ecommerce Fulfillment and Retail Fulfillment & Compliance.  This role will require ~50% time in the field meeting with operators, evaluating fit for specific customer needs, and joining the Sales team on key client engagements.

This is a new position at FLEXE and so will require a start-up mentality and a desire to shape the role to have the greatest impact on the business. As a Warehouse Solutions Director at FLEXE your key responsibilities will be to:

    • Work up to 30-50% in the field visiting operator sites in advance of the Sales team to ensure operator qualifications meet customer needs; and to validate general operator qualifications.
    • Work closely with your partners on the Network Development and Sales teams to align client needs with appropriate FLEXE operators.
    • Partner with Sales to present FLEXE solutions to key clients.
    • Effectively communicate (email, phone, and in person) new business opportunities, field questions, and follow-up with warehouse providers.  
    • Share your industry experience with internal teams to support overall team development.
    • Effectively balance multiple priorities.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
    • 7-10 years experience managing Warehouse Operations, preferably at a Tier 1 3PL.
    • Experience with Ecommerce and Retail Fulfillment Operations.   
    • Client-facing experience - equally comfortable talking with client management and company executives.
    • Flexibility to changing work requirements based on shifting priorities.
