We are seeking a seasoned program manager to lead a team of billing analysts from initial program design through implementation and into a steady state. In this role, you will own developing a customer-centric billing team, designing internal and external processes and consistent process improvements. 

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, has strong attention to detail and experience leading new teams through change. In addition, this role requires close collaboration with finance, sales and operational teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in billing efforts. 

Responsibilities

    • Design and implement billing processes including invoice adjustments, invoice reviews and dispute management
    • Recruit and manage of a team of billing analysts to support monthly billing processes 
    • Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations on behalf of the business and customer experience
    • Resolve complex or escalated billing disputes by researching contract terms and partnership with sales and finance teams.

Skills and experience

    • 5+ years experience as billing and/or operations leader
    • Self-directed with experience owning a process end-to-end
    • Able to manage internal conflict and redirect to positive outcome
    • Highly proficient with Salesforce and billing systems such as Netsuite, Zuora or SAP
    • Able to build relationships and communicate across teams: commercial, finance, operations, legal and product
