About People & Culture Business Partner
As a People & Culture Business Partner (HRBP) at Flipster, you will be a strategic partner to leaders across departments and functions, aligning people strategies with evolving business direction and needs. You will lead initiatives and projects that shape how we assess employee competency and performance  with a data driven approach. This role requires a proactive and data-driven approach to problem solving, strong stakeholder management and expertise in building competency driven compensation structures and planning organizational structures to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

    • Act as a trusted advisor and partner to team leaders and leadership, providing coaching insights to each department’s talent strategies needs that align with business goals.
    • Conduct and work in close partnership with various teams by conducting regular 1:1s in order to assess and understand the challenges, goals and needs of each team.
    • Develop and implement an effective competency framework that aligns accordingly with various departments' performance with practical, role-specific expectations and development pathways. 
    • Designing training programs and sessions for competency frameworks and workforce development. 
    • Develop workforce planning that aligns with business goals for a rapidly growing global organization.
    • Analyze and assess organizational improvements for total rewards based on market trends. 
    • Develop data dashboards to report and track key HR metrics and performance within the organization. 
    • Plan and execute leadership and manager training programs to cultivate high performing teams and leaders. 
    • Serve as a key advisor to functional leaders and people managers on HR-related matters. 
    • Work collaboratively within an agile, fast-paced environment, enabling teams to operate efficiently while navigating complexity and ambiguity.

Qualifications

    • Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, with significant HR Business Partner expertise in the tech or related industry.
    • Fluency in English and Korean is required.
    • Expertise and experience in workforce planning, developing competency frameworks and compensation structures for fast growing organizations.
    • Has a strategic mindset and is able to influence, negotiate and manage stakeholders/management to align with the company's business strategies. 
    • Expertise in being able to assess each team’s performance indicators and develop areas where needed. 
    • Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills where they are able to use data to drive decisions and measure impact.  
    • Cultural sensitivity and experience working in diverse, multicultural environments.

Preferred

    • Experience in managing talent operations and fostering culture in a global remote team environment.
    • Experience in designing and developing competency frameworks from scratch and successfully integrating them into performance management systems.
    • Proven experience in bridging communication gaps between Korean and English-speaking teams in a global organization. 
    • Background in organizational development is a plus.
