FloQast is looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Accountant to join its growing team. This position requires excellent communication, an ability to think critically and creatively, attention to detail, a team-oriented attitude and a love of accounting.

**Please note this is a hybrid position, with the expectation of working 2-3x a week in office.

What You'll Do:
- Participate in day-to-day accounting operations including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, accruals and conducting account reconciliations
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process by providing documents and explanations as required and address any audit findings or recommendations
- Financial Systems: Use and implement internal financial systems from time to time, including Coupa, FloQast, NetSuite, Salesforce, Avalara et. al.
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of monthly Flux analysis
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial processes
- Any other accounting related responsibilities may be assigned from time to time
- Special projects as may be assigned
What You'll Bring:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace and other accounting software (e.g., NetSuite)
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- CPA, or CPA candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred

The base pay range for this position is $85,000- $115,000. Compensation is not limited to base salary.
