About Florence
Florence is a primary care provider that is at the forefront of fixing America’s broken health care system, starting with the most high-need patients among us – our seniors. Founded in Northern California, a couple hours' drive north of San Francisco, during the past 18 months we have grown to a team size of 40 and are opening new locations throughout California and additional states over the coming months. Our patient service is based on a hybrid in-person/virtual delivery model, combining intimate in-person care visits at our centers with virtual care check-ins throughout the year. Using this approach, we're emerging as leaders in patient satisfaction and health outcomes within the competitive landscape.

The Role
A newly created position, the VP, Marketing will report directly to the CEO and will have overall ownership of the company’s entire brand and marketing strategy. The primary mandate for the role is to help develop and steer Florence's patient-facing brand, with an objective of driving aggressive customer growth at our existing and new clinics over the coming months and years. As such, this role will require deep understanding of consumer psychology and market positioning.

The position will have latitude with the CEO around how to staff agency engagements for both creative/branding and, when relevant, media. The role will have a broad purview of the creation, deployment, and iteration of marketing assets across all relevant channels, including web assets (including the company’s core website), targeted direct mail campaigns, OOH advertising, local TV affiliate spots, radio channels, newspaper placements and unpaid PR, traditional and untraditional community events, digital ads (including social media when applicable), and more. These decisions will require both a strong sense of creative intuition and deep analytical rigor.

Further, in addition to the core B2C mandate, as the overall Brand and Marketing owner of an early stage company, the role will also have ownership for physician-facing and new talent/careers recruitment-related marketing initiatives, which are the critical secondary and tertiary branding areas respectively for the company as it continues to compete for top-tier medical professionals and other talent.

Why Florence?
In addition to Florence's employee-driven culture, growth trajectory, and the opportunity to be at the forefront of fixing the U.S. health care system, the Company believes in offering market-leading compensation and benefits to market-leading talent.

Florence is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We are all humans!
