Company Background
Florence Health is a technology-driven health care company. The company takes total cost of care risk for patients in partnership with the government and other payers, and leverages its proprietary technology to improve primary care outcomes through a network of independent affiliated practices as well as select staff-model Florence-branded clinics operated with strategic partners. The Company's core technology platform, Nightingale, is the result of years of R&D in the areas of health care data and patient records.

Role Responsibilities & Scope
Ownership and accountability of both (1) all core accounting processes including monthly close processes as well as (2) forecast, budget and capital planning functions in partnership with the company’s CEO & Head of Corporate Development. As such, you would lead both backward-looking accounting and forward-looking financial planning (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) and many aspects of accounting and strategy that relate to it.

The position will report to the CEO, and will collaborate closely with both the CEO and Head of Corporate Development as a driver of company financial steering and capital planning.

Role Qualifications and Skills Required:
[1] CPA and minimum 3-5 years' experience in high-performing accounting teams required, including at least 1-2 years in an environment with robust annual accounting audits

[2] Exposure to and comfortability with being accountable for forward-looking FP&A process and deliverables, in addition to the standard backwards-looking accounting processes and deliverable
 
[3] Ambition to help create a great company by driving and developing a top-performing finance team, without being deterred or put off by the amount of work or challenges along the way

Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working with Sage Intacct preferred but not required
- Experience working with DataRails FP&A platform also preferable, but not required

What to expect in the interview process for this role:
Only full-time onsite candidates are being considered for this role (no remote hires), although additional relocation compensation is included for out-of-market candidates. Given the importance of this role as a core team member, the interview process will combine informational intro/interview sessions, with 1-2 in-person meetings with the Company's leadership, including the CEO and the Head of Corporate Development.
