About the Role
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented In-House Photographer/Photo Editor who will continue to push our brand to the next level. Someone who has a passion for epic photography, exceptional editing skills, and the ability to capture high-quality images across various domains including residential real estate, product photography, and event coverage — a creative assassin, if you will — bringing big ideas to life with a trained eye, detail-focused communication skills, and a talent for capturing, creating and editing. Someone who’s been around the block a time or twelve. You’ve got all your creative badges sewn on and sashed to prove it: from photography to videography, social content creation to product shoots, editing and crazy good Photoshop capabilities for good measure.

Responsibilities

    • Capture high-quality images of residential properties, ensuring each image showcases the property's unique features and highlights its selling points
    • Capture and edit merchandise and product shots that will get people excited to make a purchase or learn more
    • Create epic content for social, website, and digital campaigns that stand out from the everyday
    • Attend events as needed to capture compelling photographs that effectively convey the atmosphere and essence of the occasion
    • Edit and retouch images to ensure they meet brand standards. Maintain consistency in editing style across all images while adapting to specific requirements for different projects

    • Collaborate and assist with on the fly image sourcing, artist curation, license retrieval, photo editing (retouching, removing backgrounds, etc.), and capturing content for social media
    • Assist in our yearly photo contest as we review thousands of incredible photos to assist the judges in their process
    • Collaborate across various departments to ensure the big vision is working together. Work as a team alongside creative and non-creatives to best support larger projects and goals
    • Wrangle the details. Be an ambitious creative worker who can handle a calendar, responds to emails on time and knows a thing or two about deadlines and proofing
    • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate and assist on photo and video shoots including managing shot lists, talent, props and ensure deadlines are met
    • Take initiative and do your own tricks. Dive in on projects to over-deliver new and innovative solutions others might not see
    • Ability to take direction and run with it… coming back with ideas and concepts aligning with our mission
    • Good at working fast with quick turnarounds and taking feedback with ease. A never-ending desire to advance your craft and learn

Ideal Background

    • Proven experience as a photographer and photo editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in residential real estate photography, product photography, event coverage and editing
    • You have a solid working knowledge with photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar tools. Bonus points for video editing and experience with Pr and AE
    • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and work in a fast-paced environment
    • A bachelor's degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field is preferred but not required
    • Local/on-site in Miami or Fort Lauderdale, Florida or willing to relocate
    • Ability to travel between sites locally and internationally
