About the Role
As the Architectural Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in all project phases, collaborating with the design team on conceptual designs, feasibility studies, and more. You'll resolve complex design issues with practical solutions, conduct product research, and assist with material selections. Additionally, you'll maintain project documentation, coordinate with project teams and external partners, provide project team coordination for construction plans, participate in construction administration, and travel to property sites for field inspections and progress reports.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the broader design team on conceptual designs, feasibility studies, graphic presentations, schematic design, design development, and production
- Assist in preparing architectural programming documents, and specifications
- Utilize AutoCAD and/or Revit to prepare and modify architectural documents at the direction of the project designer or more senior design colleagues, ensuring alignment with design intent and company standards. Prepare both 2D and 3D design materials for team review
- Resolve complex design issues with operationally-minded, innovative and practical solutions
- Perform product research; assist project designers and project architects with material selections
- Maintain required project documentation through all design phases
- Provide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction
- Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples
- Travel to property sites for field inspections and project progress reports
Ideal Background
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or related field required
- Requires 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years of experience with Revit
- Experience in large scale projects, preferably in both Commercial and Residential Real Estate
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Suite
- Ability to develop visual presentations for all design phases - programming, schematic design, design development
- Ability to develop construction documents
- Knowledge of architectural building systems and functional building operations
- Ability to manage concurrent projects in various stages of development
- Comfortable in a fast-paced start-up work environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
