As a Marketing Intern, you will work on a variety of projects for Fluence’s Americas region. Working closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing and the Sr. Marketing Specialist.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Support logistics and planning for regional events and conferences, including vendor engagement, swag purchasing, event research, and abstract submissions. Create SharePoint pages to track and communicate upcoming events to other regional teams.
- Develop regional content, including project case studies, brochures, and other sales and marketing collateral. Work with Global Marketing team to produce and publish final materials.
- Improve the regional marketing SharePoint collateral databases so material is easily accessible, and keep content up-to-date. Develop additional regional marketing SharePoint pages as needed.
- Create social media content in collaboration with the Global Social Media Manager. Providing regular templates of social media content for the Americas team.
- Conduct market research to inform future marketing activity, covering competitors, customers, media channels, market sizing, industry trends, and more. Create PowerPoint presentations to summarize findings and recommendations.
- Administrative support for the Americas Marketing Team.
What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
- Collaborative, team player who views the success of the team as their own success
- Strong content writing and proofreading skills
- Experience in events management and liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Great attention to detail, organization, and planning skills
- Experience and/or strong interest in the Energy/Cleantech sector
- Demonstrated interest in B2B marketing (experience preferable but not essential)
- Experience with Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
