ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for an experienced and value-driven professional to join our sustaining production team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will guide Fluence's success by bringing your knowledge and expertise to help us maintain our culture as we grow.
You will be tasked with owning various operational activities for assigned contract manufacturers using our tools, your experience, and a collaborative fun environment.

As Quality Assurance Inspector you will:
· Responsible for inspecting, sampling, measuring, or weighing process or assembled parts or products for defects per specifications.
· Evaluate compliance using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with specifications, operating procedures or standards
· Responsibilities include inspection, analysis of results, detecting nonconforming conditions and reporting
· Will need to work with different cross-functional groups to ensure project success by developing inspection plans, including traceability, ensuring requirements coverage at loading, and reporting nonconforming
· Interfaces with contract manufacturer organizations, external suppliers, customers, to evaluate and communicate accomplishment of project inspection priorities through all phases in the manufacturing quality inspection process flow
· Communicates, educates, trains and coaches’ customers, suppliers, and internal personnel regarding quality policies, processes and procedures
· Gather, record, and analyze inspection results and data, maintaining documentation such as logbooks and checklists
· Work with the Fluence quality and process engineers to revise and update standard operating procedures (SOP), analytical procedures and protocols
· Communicate with the contract manufacturer to reduce the amount of non-conforming product received and in-process
· Support the quality engineer with performing QMS audits per the approved audit schedule

· 2+ years of experience working in an engineering or quality role within a manufacturing enviroment.
· Prior experience working with teams to drive continuous improvement.
· Highest degree of integrity and management of confidential information.
· Knowledge of quality management systems and best practices.
· Problem solver and result oriented.
· High Attention to detail and data accuracy.
· Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.
· Experience tracking, prioritizing and driving multiple concurrent projects in a fast paced, growing company.
