We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in regulated industries, ideally within the medical device sector. This role requires an open-minded and flexible individual who is self-motivated and comfortable wearing multiple hats within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of their work, leveraging their expertise as the sole Electrical Engineer while coordinating with contractors or EE-adjacent professionals as necessary.

Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and processes is essential for this position.

What You Will Do

    • Innovate the next generation of Fluxergy Analyzer and participate in developing Fluxergy Consumables; plus, troubleshoot current products already in production. 
    • Help develop an internal electrical engineering department from scratch. For example, determine which parts of our EE work get outsourced and which aspects stay in-house? 
    • Lead and take ownership of multiple cross-functional projects with electrical, software, mechanical, and industrial engineering departments. 
    • Conduct analysis to determine “build or buy” strategies; plus, establish and manage relationships with vendors. 
    • Innovate complex electrical systems to develop diagnostic tools (e.g., potentiometric, amperometric, high-speed imaging and optical control systems, reverse engineering existing analog and digital systems). 
    • Serve as the main point of contact within Electrical Engineering for a successful 510(K) submission. 
    • Optimize electrical modules communication to minimize operational time (e.g., developing hardware and firmware architecture for multithreading and parallel operation). 
    • Troubleshoot errors and failure mode analysis (e.g., FMEA) of electrical system. 
    • Design of medium and low voltage electrical distribution systems. 

What You'll Need to Have

    • 4-8 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering roles.
    • Proficiency in designing digital circuits, including logic gates, flip-flops, and digital signal processing elements.
    • Strong understanding and experience in designing analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, and signal conditioning circuits.
    • Demonstrated experience in PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design, manufacturing processes, board bring-up, and troubleshooting techniques.

Salary Range: $101,000 - $133,000
