This position will be part of IT department and reporting to the Director, IT Operations.

Responsibilities:

SharePoint Administration:
  *Configure, deploy, and maintain SharePoint sites, and services
  *Monitor and optimize SharePoint performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
  *Implement security policies, permissions, and access controls for SharePoint content
  *Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues in a timely manner

Collaboration and Content Management:
  *Collaborate with departmental teams to understand their SharePoint requirements
  *Customize and configure SharePoint sites and libraries to meet specific business needs
  *Manage document libraries, lists, workflows, and metadata
  *Ensure proper version control and document lifecycle management

Integration and Migration:
*Integrate SharePoint Online with other Microsoft 365 services and third-party applications to enhance functionality
*Plan and execute data migration of content from various platforms into SharePoint

User Support and Training:
 *Manage user access and permissions within SharePoint Online
 *Provide end-user support and guidance on SharePoint usage
 *Develop and deliver training materials and workshops to educate employees
 *Create documentation and knowledge resources for SharePoint best practices
 *Provide L3 support on daily basis to resolve technical issues, errors, and user problems related to SharePoint Online

Backup and Recovery:
*Work with the Infrastructure team to establish and maintain SharePoint backup and    recovery procedures
*Perform regular backups and conduct disaster recovery tests

Monitoring and Reporting:
  *Set up monitoring tools to proactively identify and address issues
   *Generate and analyze reports to assess SharePoint usage and performance

What We Are Seeking
*Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
*Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or similar role
*Strong knowledge of SharePoint Server, SharePoint Online, and related technologies
*Familiarity with SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and Power Apps
*Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration
*Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
*Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:
*SharePoint certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate)
*Experience in migration from SharePoint On-Premise and file systems to SharePoint Online with knowledge of *Sharegate migration tool being a valuable asset
*Experience with hybrid SharePoint environments (on-premises and cloud)
*Knowledge of SharePoint governance best practices
*Familiarity with other Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Teams, OneDrive)
