Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for a Glazing Superintendent to support our Victoria Branch located in Saanichton, BC (Office Location – 6836 – Kirkpatrick Crescent #1, Saanichton BC V8M 1Z9). This role will include duties related to Glazing superintendent and Sales account management for the Service department.
Responsibilities
- In-Office Project Support:
- Ensure that all revisions/change orders are properly documented and accounted for
- Completion of various reports, including Service Request/Field Report and work order
- Dispatch calls to field technicians, providing all necessary job information prior to their arrival on site
- Understand and prepare takeoffs and estimates for assigned jobs in a timely manner
- Field Crew Support:
- Monitor quality, safety, and training requirements through regular visits to project sites
- Order and manage Service Inventory, material best practices, and safety equipment distribution
- Daily review of project progress with the foremen and review of field reports
- Scheduling, alignment, and time management of field crews
- Building strong and long-lasting relationships:
- Regular follow-up on quotes and tenders
- Plan and attend client meetings in a variety of locations based on interests of the client
Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in a Construction environment; Service Glazing experience is considered an asset
- Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, stay organized, and perform in a deadline-oriented environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment and strong attention to detail
