Metal Roofing Installer

Summary: Responsible for installing metal roofing, coping, trims, and other metal roofing products on commercial and residential buildings. Work collaboratively with the flat-roofing department and/or metal panel department as needed.

Daily Responsibilities:
· Installation of metal roofs-primarily standing seam, copings, caps, trims, flashings, and occasional sheet metal facia and chimney hoods.
· Fit and join sheet metal parts, roofing trim & flashings
· Conduct work from heights and elevated platforms- boom lifts, scissor lifts, scaffolding, etc.
· Follow all safety rules and procedures
· Travel and work at various job sites as needed
· Assist in the shop or in other departments as needed
Requirements
· 1+ years previous experience with sheet metal roofing
· Familiar with power tools and hand tools (drills, saws, snips, etc.)
· Very comfortable working from heights, able to climb ladders, scaffolding, boom lifts, etc.
· Comfortable working outdoors, year-round out in the field
· Has reliable transportation- able to commute to various job sites in the surrounding area
· Ability to learn and follow our extensive safety policy
· Pass our background screening and drug test
