Daily Responsibilities
· Set up or program the computer on CNC machinery to create multiple bends on metal and complex geometries. Types of machinery used in our shop: CNC press breaks, CNC shears, CNC punch, saws, grinders, power tools.
· Follow safety requirements and maintain certifications.
· Inspect the machinery and product for quality assurance.
· Perform maintenance and troubleshoot when needed
· Follow safety procedures and processes
Requirements
· Can program and/or operate the CNC punching machine. Specific machine: Trumatic 5000, brand is TRUMPF
· Experience using the software: Trutops boost
· Has previously worked in a fabrication/shop setting
· Layout skills - transfer the blue-prints and correct dimensions to create the physical product
· Knows how to troubleshoot and can provide training to others
