A Day In The Life

    • Maintain existing clients and grow business relationships through direct and frequent communication
    • Develop new clients with decision makers in various sectors and build on Flynn’s Service business
    • Build relationships with clients in order to understand the client’s wants and needs
    • Follow-up on your quotes and tenders via various methods of communication
    • Frequent communication with customers with a twice a week expectation of client visits
    • Remote interactions and presentations / demos
    • Attend association events, plan customer events; some after hours commitments required
    • Work with Local and National team to promote Flynn’s brand and services through marketing and social media channels
    • Understand and prepare takeoffs/estimates for assigned jobs
    • Attending pre-tender site meetings to prepare an accurate estimate as required
    • Be aware and informed of all new materials or techniques in your field by attending material manufacturer’s seminars, trade shows, etc.
    • Review all contracts and accepted quotations.  Review with the department Manager for final approval as required
    • Write up work orders completely and in a concise and timely manner so to assist scheduling and purchasing of materials at the best prices.
    • Supporting corporate initiatives and business development objectives.
    • Identify potential new clients and develop relationship with key decision makers
    • Frequent communication with new and existing customers with a twice a week expectation of client visits
    • Explain Flynn Service opportunities to clients best suited to their needs and wants
    • Regular follow-up on quotes and tenders
    • Attend association, industry, and networking events
    • Plan and attend client meetings in a variety of locations based on interests of the client
    • Work with National team to build local presence and assist on local relationships with national clients
    • Work with Local and National team to promote Flynn’s brand and services through marketing and social media channels
    • Understand and prepare takeoffs and estimates for assigned jobs
    • Attending pre-tender site meetings to prepare an accurate estimate as required
    • Review all contracts and accepted quotations with the Service Manager
    • Complete work orders in a concise and timely manner for cost effective material purchasing and scheduling
    • Ability to conduct presentations or demonstrations remotely
    • Maintain up to date product knowledge and industry  leading by attending material manufacturer’s seminars, trade shows, etc.
    • Supporting corporate initiatives and business development objectives.
