About the Position

Flywheel is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join our busy and growing team. This is a unique opportunity for managing strategic customer relationships and working with cutting edge technology. Successful applicants will have a passion for growing relationships and accounts, biomedical research, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. The goal of this position is to ensure our customers realize true value from our data platform and services. 

Environment

The Relationship Management team operates within a responsive, customer focused, process and is empowered to alter it as needed to achieve team and company objectives. In this role, you will collaborate with Sales, Implementations, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Support teams. We’re highly responsive to customer needs and constantly strive to make a positive contribution to the biomedical and life sciences communities we serve.

Responsibilities

    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with strategic customers and serve as a trusted advisor
    • Regularly work with customers and internal teams to facilitate resolution of customer issues and initiatives in a timely manner
    • Identify and capture opportunities to optimize and increase customer use of the Flywheel platform and professional services
    • Work with Sales, Customer Solutions, and Customer Support to deliver maximum customer retention, revenue, and account expansion
    • This position has no direct reports

    • Strong track record of proactively recognizing and taking ownership of customer issues and driving to resolution
    • Adept at working collaboratively across a variety of stakeholders and departments internal and external
    • Strength in understanding and synthesizing various positions and interests
    • Demonstrated expertise in setting and communicating expectations; skilled in mediation and creative problem solving
    • Executive presence with excellent listening and proven communication skills 
    • Ability to stay steady under pressure and match the customer’s urgency
    • 5+ years of experience in biomedical research, life sciences, clinical research, or related field
