As Fnatic’s first full-time Copywriter, you’ll be in charge of our outward voice and written imprint of our brand. You'll help build the Fnatic brand to resonate emotionally with fans, as well as potential new audiences just beginning their Fnatic journey. You’ll be a creative driver and a champion of our brand guidelines, able to nurture and refine our identity as we grow.

Aspirational, and at the same time witty, your words will feature on our apps, products, packaging, marketing straplines and multi-million-pound partnerships proposals to some of the biggest brands on the planet. You will be pivotal in ensuring our written communications align with our brand promise to ‘game better’ and shaping a consistent tone of voice that makes us uniquely identifiable. Your mission is to:

    • Write clear and concise copy that is original and on-brand
    • Respond to briefs from across Fnatic departments, helping foster a human tone through copy that captures and engages all that interact with it
    • Switch hats to match specific target audiences
    • Contribute to ideation and help others better articulate their ideas
    • Present and sell ideas to key stakeholders
    • Proof for spelling and grammar and ensure copy reaches its audience error-free
    • Evolve our brand book and help educate the business on how to write effectively

We're looking for:

    • A captivating portfolio exhibiting copy experience with a consumer marketing focus (rather than editorial)
    • Personality with a love for writing authentic words that appeal to youth audiences
    • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects, and deliver to deadlines without compromising quality
    • A stickler for details
    • Familiarity writing to established brand guidelines
    • A strong imagination and creative mind
    • An interest in gaming/esports and understanding of the community desirable
    • Faultless command of English, other languages a plus!
