As People Operations Lead at Fnatic, you’ll have a key role to play in ensuring Fnatic's people support is structured for future scale. Your work will ensure the interactions Fnatic staff have with core people processes are frictionless and efficient, and you'll constantly have an eye towards automation and striking the right balance between building for self-service and ensuring people operations retain a human face.

In a small team supporting a multi-faceted business, you’ll relish the opportunity to get your hands dirty across the generalist remit and are excited about levelling up Fnatic's people operations to a best-in-class standard.

Your mission is to:

    • Audit staff touchpoints with Fnatic's people processes and optimise as required
    • Own Fnatic payroll processes globally, and review offering from service providers regularly
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and People best practice, and grow your understanding of international frameworks where Fnatic has offices
    • Build an MI dashboard with key people datapoints, as well as synthesise insights from regular engagement surveys and D&I audits to make recommendations to the business
    • Understand the needs of staff globally, and create people processes that achieve equitable outcomes regardless of office location or working onsite/remotely
    • Oversee general People administration tasks (background checks, provision of references, contract updates, immigration compliance) as well as being the primary P&C contact for annual statutory audits
    • Maintain People guides and policies, and work closely with People Partners to ensure these foster positive diversity and inclusion outcomes
    • Administer Fnatic's benefit offering and build business cases for its expansion
    • Source external compensation and benefit benchmarking data and align to Fnatic's progression framework, ensuring has a competitive market offering
    • Act as an administrator on Fnatic's key people platforms (BambooHR, Capdesk, FairHQ, Google Workspace, Home Office SMS, Lattice, Notion, Slack, TripActions)
    • Review Fnatic's HRIS needs and lead the implementation of a more fit-for-purpose platform
    • Work closely with the Workplace Experience Manager and colleagues in global offices to ensure onboarding/offboarding procedures are completed effectively
    • Submit HMRC returns for EMI purposes and liaise with Fnatic's Company Secretary to facilitate issuing of options paperwork
    • Ensure Fnatic’s people operations are GDPR compliant and help educate the business
    • Support budgeting processes and tracking of People & Culture spend
    • Mentor and manage the People & Culture Coordinator in Berlin, and take an active role in their development
    • Undertake ad-hoc projects as directed by the People & Culture Director

We're looking for:

    • Generalist HR experience to a senior level in a fast-paced, high-growth or progressive environment
    • CIPD qualification with in-depth knowledge of UK employment law and practices
    • Familiarity with a range of people operations platforms
    • Experience managing people matters in multiple global jurisdictions
    • A natural people person with high EQ; able to deal with issues with sensitivity and tact
    • Commercial mindset and ability to consider People issues within the broader context of the business
    • A meticulous eye for detail and obsession with clean data
    • Ability to translate metrics into actionable business insights
    • A service mentality and approachable demeanour
    • Clear, succinct and influential written and verbal communication skills
    • Someone proactive, reliable and able to deliver to tight deadlines
