As a Project Manager for Fnatic’s Gear product line, you’ll facilitate smooth development of innovative esports gaming peripherals from concept through mass production. You’ll work closely in-country with our Dongguan-based Sourcing Manager, and play a pivotal role in ensuring project milestones and deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

Your mission is to:

    • Collaborate with our Product Lead to define, scope and prioritise new Gear projects
    • Create and manage multiple projects, including schedules (internal and ODM/OEM), and specification
    • Maintain the schedule or timeline of project KPIs, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
    • Act as a coordinator between internal and external parties, ensuring all contributors deliver to targeted timeframes
    • Ensure expectations, dependencies, development process, and progress is communicated to relevant stakeholders
    • Proactively manage risk, identifying mitigation options and and escalating concerns when required to minimise project delay or cost increase
    • Ensure that deliverables meet objectives defined in the project documentation
    • Collaborate with our Sourcing Manager to identify and manage component's end of life, second source needs, or potential cost reduction
    • Attend factory on-site reviews when needed
    • Regularly review project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency
    • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain best-practice

We're looking for:

    • Extensive project management experience of consumer products with mechanical/electrical/software/firmware elements
    • Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Mandarin Chinese
    • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar
    • Previous working relationships with ODM/OEM parties in a product development/R&D scope
    • Good understanding of BOM (Bills of Material) and project management methodologies/standards
    • Strong organisation, with ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects
    • High level of attention to detail, coupled with a analytical mindset
    • A power-user of Google and Microsoft work applications
    • Ability to travel abroad frequently to support projects and productions when required
    • Understanding of gaming accessory products desirable
