Fnatic’s Partnerships team has a vision to shape and set the standards for how brands engage in the new world of entertainment. As a Partner Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in achieving this vision and connecting partners to the growing esports audience of Gen Z and Millennials. You’ll leverage Fnatic’s capabilities across social, video, streaming, community, events and talent, as well as new digital media properties to generate new partnership revenue streams with Tier 1 global brands. A natural communicator, you’ll continuously grow your network and bring a genuine, creative approach to engaging new partners with the world of esports.
Your mission is to:
- Thoroughly understand the motivations and expectations of brands in partnering with Fnatic, and build the foundations of a long term relationship that has the ability to scale
- Pitch groundbreaking global activations to category-leading brands that enable them to actively engage Fnatic’s audience throughout the partnership, and have the potential to win industry awards
- Manage a pipeline of multiple opportunities according to your sales plan, and meet agreed revenue targets
- Negotiate agreements that fully maximise Fnatic’s assets and the profitability of the relationship
- Provide weekly reports to the Partnerships team and Fnatic management on key tasks, mission critical updates, as well as potential obstacles you might be encountering
- Help further refine Fnatic’s commercial proposition, positioning us as one of the most progressive and successful brands in entertainment
- Support continued partner success through collaborating with Partnerships colleagues in ongoing relationship management
- Be an internal ambassador for partners within Fnatic
- Structure your time and prioritise effectively through familiarity and use of project management tools, ensuring all deliverables are executed accordingly
- Support the development of reporting documents and other tracking mechanisms
- When relevant, oversee the work of Partner Development Executives who provide research and pipeline support
We're looking for:
- Background selling digital media properties from a rights-holder perspective, either directly or in an agency environment (ideally 3+ years)
- Ability to present innovative ideas leveraging digital marketing and sponsorship assets in non-traditional ways
- Track record of over-achievement in sales and hunger to exceed targets
- An engaging personality and natural rapport with people
- Degree education, ideally in business/media/marketing/advertising
- Honesty in evaluating how you can improve constantly
- Strategic thinking on how brands can engage with audiences, and ability to articulate this to potential partners
- A methodical approach and understanding you can deliver success for partners through being process orientated
- Creativity and ability to participate in ideation
- Someone who thrives with autonomy in a delivery-focused environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, additional languages desirable
