Team Manager (CS:GO)

As Team Manager of Fnatic's CS:GO team, you will have a key part to play in the success of a tier 1 team within the Fnatic stable. Building strong relationships within the team, you'll support performance staff and other team management maintain Fnatic's high standards, and ensure all involved in the team are great Fnatic representatives. You'll also be an important conduit between the team and the other departments that make up Fnatic, ensuring that the story of performance that our team embodies is told widely.

Your mission is to:

    • Manage the day-to-day relationship with the game publisher and other relevant tournament organisers, and provide updates to Fnatic players and staff of schedules, policy changes, content obligations and other updates
    • Be the internal champion for CS:GO at Fnatic; and help the business understand how to best leverage their interactions with the team through onboarding, project feedback and more
    • Support gathering of photo/video content in collaboration with the HQ Marketing and Studios teams, and advise on content strategy and potential story arcs
    • Assist players with obligated social and streaming deliverables
    • Work closely with Fnatic's Product and Partnerships amongst others, acting as their first point of contact with the CS:GO team for feedback, scheduling, execution or project management of inbound requests
    • Coordinate event requirements for players and supporting staff from briefing through to execution, ensuring event opportunities are maximised
    • Work closely with Fnatic's Finance, Legal and People & Culture teams to ensure administrative obligations towards the team are fulfilled
    • Work with team management to support player well-being
    • Educate players on Fnatic’s policies and requirements when it comes to partnerships, dress code, sportsmanship, and fair play
    • Observe Fnatic guidelines on software and service usage, from appropriate data storage and sharing to security settings
    • Establish a vast network of contacts in the game’s community, such as event organisers, game developers, journalists, team managers and players
    • Ad-hoc tasks as directed by your manager; generally being readily available on Slack/phone/email during work hours

We're looking for:

    • Background in event or project management
    • Detail orientation and quality focus
    • A passion for esports and CS:GO specifically (ideally with associated experience)
    • Experience working with talent (desirable)
    • Comfort working remotely and familiarity with online collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Notion and Slack
    • Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Swedish also desirable)
    • Willingness to travel abroad for extended periods
    • Interest in food, physical training and nutrition
    • A hard-working nature with a sense of urgency and high level of commitment
    • A team player who helps others to achieve
    • Emotional maturity and ability to think on your feet
    • Flexibility and comfort in being on standby
    • A technical mindset with good core computer/network knowledge
