Team Manager (PUBG)

As Team Manager of our PUBG team, you will be a key conduit between our team and the other departments that make up Fnatic. You’ll drive high performance and standards, and ensure all involved in the team are great representatives of the Fnatic brand.

Your mission is to:

    • Manage the day-to-day operation of Fnatic’s training facilities and teamhouse, including related security, shipments, invoices, visits, inventory and purchases
    • Organise schedule for player trainings/breaks/activities
    • In the absence of a Team Director/coaching staff, support on player scouting, issue mediation, and practice management
    • Take responsibility for player wellbeing, maintaining health and wellness (including gym sessions) and guiding on nutrition and lifestyle habits
    • Provide feedback to senior Pro-Gaming management on the team's condition, mentality and performance
    • Support organisation of team travel from budgeting, visa applications, and support during trips
    • Be the first point of contact for other Fnatic departments, including but not limited to: Product, Entertainment and Commercial, being readily available on Slack/phone/email during work hours. You may need to assist with feedback, scheduling, execution or project management of inbound requests from the aforementioned departments
    • Support in day-to-day relationship management with tournament organisers, and provide updates to Fnatic players and staff of schedules, policy changes, content obligations and other updates
    • Coordinate event requirements for players and supporting staff from briefing through to execution, ensuring event opportunities are maximised
    • Deliver photo/video content in collaboration with the Fnatic Content team, and assist players with obligated social and streaming deliverables
    • Educate players on Fnatic’s policies and requirements when it comes to partnerships, dress code, sportsmanship, and fair play
    • Observe Fnatic guidelines on software and service usage, from appropriate data storage and sharing to security settings
    • Establish a vast network of contacts in the game’s community, such as event organisers, game developers, journalists, team managers and players

We're looking for:

    • A passion for esports and knowledge of the Indian scene/wider ecosystem
    • Background working in talent management/service oriented environment
    • Experience working remotely desirable
    • Willingness to travel abroad for extended periods
    • Ability/permission to drive in India
    • Interest in food and nutrition
    • A hard-working nature with a sense of urgency and high level of commitment
    • Emotional calmness and ability to think on your feet
    • Flexibility and comfort in being on standby
    • Someone technically minded with good core computer/network knowledge
    • Working knowledge of Google and Microsoft suites
    • Detail orientation and quality focus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, other languages desirable
