Te Tūranga – About the role
As a Business Intelligence Analyst in the Transport Planning & Optimisation team you will be responsible for the development, delivery and analysis of reporting and insights that add value across our Supply Chain using data from a range of sources.
Key responsibilities include:
· Development of reporting for key transport and supply chain activities including delivery on time, freight volumes, revenue and expenses, safety measures
· Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of access to data, reporting and structures
· Identifying on-going continuous improvement opportunities, supported by analytics and data mining activities
· Opportunity to work on exciting projects that underpins the supply chain operational units
· Support the transition into our new enterprise data platform (google cloud platform)

You’ll be able to see the big picture but also able to focus on the detail and be seen as a trusted advisor and able to collaborate effectively with customers as well as others in the wider business. Your systems abilities will see you provide valuable insights and drive better business outcomes.
Keys to your success will also include:
· Relevant degree in data/analytics including modelling and data visualisation
· Strong communicator, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical users
· Proven track record in data analytics using business intelligence software tools (Power BI, SQL, DAX etc)
· Strong numeracy, problem solving and critical thinking skills
· Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data completeness and accuracy across various databases and systems
· Experience in the wider Supply Chain and/or FMCG sector is preferred, but not essential
· A growth mindset, eagerness to learn and passionate about all things data
