About the role
We have an awesome opportunity for a Concierge & Facilities Assistant to join the Foodies whānau!
This role is based on a 40-hour week and is fixed-term finishing up mid-December 2024.
 
As a Concierge & Facilities Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of the team. Our offices include a state-of-the-art Head Office in Māngere that houses about 1000 staff, with facilities including a café, onsite conference centre and a mailroom. Your role will be varied working as a service-oriented administrator, managing the mailroom, access cards and Concierge.
 
Ultimately, in this role you’ll:
·         Be the first person to welcome everyone who enters the building and assist with their enquiries.
·         Manage the meeting rooms throughout the ground floor.
·         Manage the visitor carparks, pool car fleet and services.
·         Co-ordinate small maintenance and related contractors and building access including related health and safety processes.
·         Manage all costs and the processing of all invoices related to works you are responsible for and organise.
·         Liaise with key stakeholders for day-to-day queries.
·         This is an 100% onsite role and working Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm.

You’ll have a positive, can-do attitude and will come to work amped and ready to help out this busy, engaged team. With a good understanding of customer service & front of house management and dealing with a very broad range of stakeholders, you’ll be part of a team that is the face of the business.
A doer, proactive and capable of delivering high quality volumes of quality work, you’ll be able to demonstrate a customer driven, collaborative working style and be a natural problem solver with unparalleled initiative.  Both written and verbal communication skills are vital in this role as well as working experience with the MS Office suite.
