Te Tūranga – About the role

Are you passionate about shaping retail solutions that power the core of our business?

As a Solution Architect in our Enterprise Systems team, you’ll be at the heart of designing and guiding SAP S/4HANA solutions that enable critical functions across the Merchandising Portfolio. You’ll work at the intersection of enterprise architecture, SAP platforms, and delivery, ensuring our ERP landscape is scalable, reliable, and aligned with our long-term business strategy.

This is a role where you’ll get to flex both your strategic thinking and technical expertise. You’ll guide teams to deliver modern, high-performing systems that are secure, resilient, and built to scale - all while keeping the customer at the centre of every architectural decision. If you thrive in agile environments, love turning complexity into clarity, and want to help define the digital retail landscape of the future, we’d love to hear from you.

In this role, you will:

- Lead the design and integration of SAP S/4HANA solutions across modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, CAR, PMR, UDF, FnR and seamless connection to non-SAP platforms.
- Drive SAP integration patterns using SAP BTP, CPI, and API-led connectivity, ensuring seamless connection to non-SAP platforms (WMS, TM, GCP, Sitecore, Salesforce, etc).
- Define and govern solution architecture standards, ensuring consistency across ERP, data, and integration landscapes.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into practical, future-ready SAP solutions.
- Follow SAP Activate methodologies including LeanIX & Signavio during solution design and pursue Clean Core concepts.
- Partner with Enterprise and Principal Architects to deliver our future-state SAP roadmap, including RISE with SAP and cloud-enabled architectures.
- Act as a trusted advisor on SAP best practices, upgrade paths, and innovations (e.g., BTP extensions, AI/automation).
