About the role
As an Online Store Specialist you’ll be on the ground, hands on and in store and working closely with the eCommerce Team and stores to ensure an authentic and compelling customer experience for our digital customers.  Optimising processes and leveraging technology, you’ll be part of the team that unlocks the power of digital by proactively identifying and providing training and coaching to our teams in store around online retail, instilling a culture of best practice across the our eCommerce store network with a focus on cost optimisation and growth.
 
Key tasks include:
·       Maintain a set call cycle of your territory achieving sustainable and profitable growth
·       Identify, comprehend, and translate online data into meaningful actions at a store and support centre level
·       Establish and maintain effective relationships across your store network, gaining credibility and influencing change
 
This role will look after the Taranaki and Manawatu regions, looking after 30 New World and PAK’nSAVE stores so frequent travel is required.
 
About you
Engaging and approachable, your knowledge of retail processes and operations will be next to none! Your ability to build relationships, ask the right questions and influence at all levels will enable you to identify, coach and improve processes across your territory resulting in online growth.
 
Able to read and translate operational metrics, you’ll have worked in fast changing environments, ideally a retail, customer focussed organisation.
 
Key skills will include:
·       Knowledge of retail operations in a retail environment
·       Excellent planning and communication skills with an eye for detail
·       Stakeholder management

You will also need to hold a full drivers licence.
