As a Meat Business Manager, you’ll be working in a motivated meat buying team responsible for promotions and strategic supplier relationship management.  Leading a team and working with suppliers, this role is integral in delivering the best priced and highest quality meat to stores, whilst owning the category strategy to achieve growth and customer satisfaction.

 

You’ll come from a robust Category Management background and be experienced in range reviews and category development.  With a strategic approach, you’ll be confident in building strong and respectful relationships with suppliers and know what the market is doing.

 

You’ll also have:

·       Have excellent planning and communication skills – both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with people from various backgrounds.

·       A background in either FMCG or Fresh food products.

·       A collaborative working style yet be an influential leader.

·       Curiosity to learn more, and constantly looking at what’s possible and how to grow your categories.

·       The ability to thrive constantly changing seasonal supply where you need to be agile and act quickly.
