About the role

As a SAP Functional Analyst working within the Enterprise Systems Team, you will be part of a team that builds, supports and maintains a world-class SAP Retail system in one of NZ’s largest retailers. 

We embrace agility in everything we do. You will work closely within a cross-functional team, to support our users and businesses. You will provide operational application support and excellent incident/problem management across critical SAP products & services. Your ability to adapt to change and collaborate effectively will be essential. 
 
The key accountabilities for this role are as follows:
 
·       Being the primary contact for the assignment and resolution of the relevant SAP related incidents.  
·       Responding to time critical incidents within established IT SLAs to establish root cause and then implement corrective action.  
·       Troubleshooting technical issues; escalating and working with appropriate technology teams to provide solutions.  
·       Demonstrating business process ownership by ensuring there is an understanding of the interrelationship between people, processes and data utilising FSNI technologies across the SAP team and dependent business units.  
·       Working with other relevant IT teams to drive the establishment of support guidelines and standards which underpin the SAP solution.  
·       Contributing to SAP implementation processes which involve design, functional development, testing, release/change management, end user training and production support. 
·       Maintaining and improving knowledge articles within SAP associated modules.  
·       Working to build strong relationships with both store-based and Support Centre stakeholders demonstrating a customer focus and technical credibility. 
 
About you 
 
Along with having exceptional communication & interpersonal skills, and an ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders you will also need to posses the follow skills to enable your success in this role:
 
·       Previous experience in L1/L2 technical support role desirable  
·       At least 3 years in the FMCG and/or Retail industry  
·       Operational experience with SAP – ideally across Inventory, Finance, Office, and/or Pricing and Promotions  
·       You will have excellent incident and problem management skills with proven ability to multitask, problem solve, and proactively trouble shoot issues & incidents in a fast paced, complex, operational environment.  
·       You will be curious, and keen to learn more, and constantly looking at ways to improve process and or systems.
