About the role

As our Salesforce Platform Owner, you’ll be in a key position to lead, design, build, maintain and optimise capability of our Salesforce Platform.  Your key objective is to enable our Salesforce squad(s) to achieve their goal of empowering end users by providing awesome Salesforce solutions.

You’ll be responsible for shaping our platform roadmap.  You’ll be responsible for the development of our internal Salesforce capabilities, working with partners where necessary.

Your key responsibilities will also include:
·       Being the product expert, domain evangelist representing and leading our Salesforce platform
·       Taking responsibility and ownership, overseeing the design, build and maintenance of the Salesforce platform, ensuring the enduring fitness for purpose of our Salesforce platform, and having overall content responsibility for the Salesforce platform roadmap and backlog.
·       Developing, maintaining and communicating a platform roadmap, collaborating with stakeholders and other product owners on their Salesforce needs, and ensuring delivery of quality solutions
·       Championing & role modelling agile leadership within the Salesforce team and across Foodstuffs
·       Line management and proactively developing a Salesforce team, comprising of internal people and external contractors.
·       Overseeing the Salesforce technical development and configuration work being executed by both internal and external supplier teams, providing technical leadership in DevOps and Continuous Delivery Pipeline
·       Driving best-of-breed Salesforce practices and customer-driven thinking to help our end user teams work smarter and more efficiently.
·       Collaborating with Enterprise and Solution Architects to define and communicate the technical and architectural vision for our Salesforce platform, and in alignment with the overall IT Winning in Tech Roadmap.
·       Managing contracts, budgets, costs, and recovery targets.
·       Managing external supplier partners - using their expertise to support and inform the platform roadmap, and ensuring they meet key performance indicators and agreed targets.

About You

You’ll be enthusiastic and passionate about doing your job, constantly curious and always seeking to improve your knowledge, along with solid Platform Ownership experience in complex projects.  You will also have excellent communication and relationship building skills as there are multiple touch points across the business along with exceptionally sound logic, systems thinking, and analytical skills that are second to none. Ideally, you will also be an active contributor to the NZ and international Salesforce user groups and have experience building the reputation of Salesforce solutions within organisations.

You will also have experience in:
·       Product Ownership/Management and Business Analysis
·       Working with Agile Development and Lean methodologies
·       Managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and stakeholders.
·       Leading delivery of solutions that meet customer and business needs.
·       Line management with clear leadership skills and accountability for actions and decisions along with the ability to influence, inspire and encourage the team and others.
·       Making decisions and recommendations on platform and application features that add value and achieve high ROI, along with being commercially & financially savvy.
·       Working with stakeholders in Sales, Customer Service, Commerce and/or Marketing (beneficial).
