The role
With a store network of 350+ stores across the North Island and a team 2,000 strong in our support centre, our Payroll Manager is responsible for managing day to day payroll services, leading a great team and working in partnership to embed a culture of continuous improvement across the Co-op. A busy role you'll:
- Deliver payroll services across Foodies
- Provide payroll systems support guidance across our network of independently owned and operated stores
- Provide project support across all payroll impacting projects such as identity management, store productivity, on boarding, performance management, HR systems;
About you
You’ll have a strong track record in people management – leading from the front with a cool, calm and collected manner.  Capable of doing the doing, you’ll also be able to take a step back and look at things strategically – driving projects and looking at improvements where possible.   
Ideally, you’ll have come from a large, complex environment and have experience in dealing with SAP and/or PayGlobal and a great technical/practical knowledge across all thing’s payroll.
