JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, Digital Experience Technical Specialist is responsible for managing the Digital Bank’s client facing technology platforms. This role leverages technical expertise to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and contribute to continuous improvements across digital account opening and online banking platforms. This role requires the Senior Manager to be proactive, self-driven, and passionate about offering the best in-class digital experience for our customers.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and execute the Bank's self-service banking strategy in alignment with overall business goals 
    • Serve as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for digital account opening and online banking platforms  
    • Maintain and troubleshoot technical issues related to digital platforms 
    • Provide technical support to business partners and internal teams 
    • Develop and maintain internal technical documentation 
    • Develop proof-of-concept (POC) solutions to validate technical feasibility 
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement platform enhancements 
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors 
    • Stay current with emerging digital trends and evaluate their potential impact  
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for digital banking 
    • Perform other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field required; Master’s Degree preferred  
    • 6+ years of experience in technology required
    • 3+ years as a front end or full stack developer, preferably within financial services required  
    • Strong understanding of modern architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture) and cloud computing principles 
    • Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documentation, including API specifications, sequence diagrams, and detailed system designs 
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL. Experience with Python highly preferred 
    • Proven experience working on integrating various platforms such as Q2, Alloy, MANTL, Finxact, or similar online banking platforms is highly desirable, including understanding their APIs, data structures, and implementation methodologies 
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the Bank 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)   
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills   
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail    
    • Outstanding problem-solving and time management skills   
    • Self-motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented  
    • Adaptable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment   
    • Can work independently and within a team; solution-oriented with a collaborative approach 
The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. $125,000 (entry level qualifications) to $155,000 (highly experienced).
