We're on the lookout for a skilled Marketo Front End Developer to join our team. If you have a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, Marketo, Velocity scripting, and JavaScript, and are passionate about developing responsive and modular email and landing page templates, we want to hear from you! -This position is for a 3-month contract-
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive Marketo email and landing page templates.
- Optimize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email content across platforms.
- Connect content to data extensions for personalization and dynamic capabilities.
- Ensure email design and layout are optimized and mobile-friendly.
- Identify and address UX/UI and accessibility concerns.
- Stay updated on email best practices including mobile-first functionality, accessibility, dark mode, etc.
- Adhere to privacy policies and anti-spam regulations.
- Leverage automation, dynamic content, and data-driven segmentation for customer engagement.
- Implement A/B and multivariant testing, tracking, and tagging.
Requirements
- 5+ years in front-end web development and email template development.
- Expertise in current HTML, CSS, JavaScript standards, and modern browser APIs.
- Strong understanding of CSS in email templates and best coding practices.
- Proficient in email marketing technology, Marketo.
- Commitment to accessibility and current WCAG standards.
- Proficient with version control (git) and agile methodologies.
