The Opportunity
At Fortreum, you'll collaborate with top-tier professionals, including those who have supported leading cloud providers globally. This role offers a unique chance to gain invaluable insights from industry experts. We are on a fast track of growth and are seeking candidates skilled in advising organizations preparing complex cloud-based systems for regulatory / compliance audit, particularly within ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, 27018 and 27701 (ISO) and SOC 1 and 2 (SOC), PCI DSS 4.0, CSA STAR v4 frameworks. This position is vital to accommodate our expanding client base and service lines.
Key Responsibilities
- This role will specialize in advising organizations progressing through regulatory / compliance initiatives via gap assessments and documentation development projects. Specifically, you would:
- Interview client stakeholders to ascertain implementation of security controls.
- Draft detailed reports including deficiency findings in relation to framework requirements .
- Develop documentation packages to include policies, plans, and more.
- Advise clients on requirements including potential solutions via leveraged IaaS, PaaS, external SaaS solutions and internal tooling or system configurations.
- Establish and maintain positive collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with delivery team members to drive customer satisfaction and meet project deliverables.
- Manage priorities, tasks, and assigned hours on projects to achieve delivery utilization targets.
- Interface with clients and other internal delivery team members through entire engagement, interacting will all levels of client organizations.
- Develop technical content for website updates, whitepapers, and blog posts that can be used both internally and by our clients to assist them in evaluating/building out their security programs.
- Pursue industry specific certifications and seek continuous professional development.
- This is a customer facing role. You will be required to periodically travel to client locations and deliver professional services.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience
- 5+ years of professional services experience
- 3+ year of consulting experience against SOC and ISO
- Strong technical acumen with regards to cloud security
- Familiarity with IaaS providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Deep understanding of all SOC 2 Categories and associated criteria, as well as ISO/IEC 27001 Management Clauses 4-10 and Annex A controls
Preferred Skills and Certifications
- One of the following certifications:
- - CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)
- - ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
- - GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
- - GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
- - GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC)
- - Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- - Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- - Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- - Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
- - CyberSec First Responder (CFR)
- - Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)
- - CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- Familiarity or experience with international frameworks such as (ENS, KSA, Italy CAN etc.)
- Ability to be self-directed with little oversight
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with team members and clients
- Comfortable supporting fast-paced team environments
$115,000 - $130,000 a year
