Role Overview
Fortreum is seeking an innovative Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of strategies that elevate our presence in the cloud security and compliance market. This role demands a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to build brand awareness, drive lead generation, and engage target audiences. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver impactful digital marketing campaigns that support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive demand generation.
- Develop and support extensive content strategy and execution to include video content/production, whitepapers, blogs, webinars, case studies and social media for our respective practice areas.
- Manage in-house and/or contract design teams and/or content writers.
- Lead the planning and execution of campaigns and events across SEO, paid media, email marketing, social platforms, and content marketing.
- Conduct audience research to understand buyer personas, pain points, and behaviors within the cybersecurity and compliance sector to refine go-to-market strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong collaboration with sales and delivery teams to ensure messaging alignment and campaign success.
- Leverage data analytics to track, measure, and optimize campaign performance, ensuring ROI-driven decision-making.
- Stay up to date on trends in digital marketing, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance to refine strategies and maintain competitive positioning.
- Manage digital marketing tools and platforms, ensuring effective use and integration for campaign success.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with a proven track record in the cybersecurity, cloud services, or technology sectors
- 5+ years of experience with B2B marketing, ideally in cybersecurity or cloud services
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Expertise in building and executing data-driven digital marketing campaigns that have driven measurable results.
- Experience with ABM (Account-Based Marketing) and lead nurturing techniques
- Hands on experience in demand generation, digital marketing and content strategy
- Extensive experience in producing video and digital campaigns, including planning, scripting, editing, and post-production
- Proficiency in SEO, SEM, content marketing, and paid advertising strategies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in using CRM, marketing automation tools, and web analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans from the ground up
- Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, resource constrained environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience in startups or small business environments, where agility and wearing multiple hats is expected
- Ability to manage and optimize website CMS platforms (Wordpress)
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, HIPAA, CMMC, etc)
$150,000 - $175,000 a year
