Foth Production Solutions works closely with consumer product companies to solve their toughest technical challenges. We partner with clients to help streamline their capital spending and business decision process, enable operational efficiencies, and launch new products.  We provide clients with a flexible offering of project engagement that ranges across consulting, engineering, design-build, and/or mixed execution through project start-up.

Foth is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Engineering Project Manager who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and a desire to contribute to our clients’ success.  This position will be working out of our Sacramento, CA; Stockton, CA; or Modesto, CA office location.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Manage multi-discipline engineering projects leading project from $1MM-$5MM in engineering scope
    • Lead overall execution of work including front end engineering, resource planning, and management of project scope, schedule, and cost
    • Develop project proposals using current established methods including scope, deliverables, engineering cost estimates, and design schedule
    • Work with client, engineering, OEM's, subcontractors, and project teams to assess issues as they arise and identify corrective actions
    • Monitor projects for potential issues (spend rate, budget over-runs, schedule conflicts, scope changes, resource availability, etc.) and implement preventive measures and corrective actions
    • Lead project meetings and drive team deliverables to the client’s satisfaction
    • Review and respond to new business requests from existing client through front end engineering and proposal development activities
    • Identify opportunities for alternate services such as turnkey projects and custom machine design
    • Identify cost saving opportunities for the client
    • Represent the best interests of both Foth and the client to ensure a win/win relationship exists
    • Collect and respond to client feedback regarding Foth performance
    • Coach others regarding client site specific procedures and requirements
    • Serve as liaison for construction support between engineering and construction management
    • Ability to travel to Foth and Client sites as needed for work (25-35% annually)
    • Manage local client relationships

Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience
    • 10+ years of experience working in consumer products manufacturing environments
    • 7+ years of manufacturing expense and capital project management experience
    • Industrial field experience

Required Recent Experience with the Following:

    • Managing project financials
    • Leading multi-disciplined engineering teams
    • Ability to read and markup engineering drawings
    • MS Project or similar scheduling software
    • Client interaction to determine immediate needs and forecasted needs

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

    • Project Management Professional Certification
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license
    • Experience working remotely with team members in a virtual setting
$135,000 - $175,000 a year

The base compensation listed for this job posting reflects a general range for the posted position.  Base compensation will vary based on factors such as: years of experience, location, level of responsibility and licenses/certifications. In addition to base compensation, Foth members may be eligible to receive bonuses through our Earned Performance Incentive program. All employees are eligible for On-the-Spot bonuses.  Exempt members are also eligible for either quarterly and/or annual bonuses.  Eligible full-time and part-time members will be offered medical, dental, vision insurance, employee assistance program, disability, retirement, holiday pay, and several other voluntary benefits.
