Foth is currently seeking a team-focused and results-oriented professional engineer with the desire to cultivate and advance municipal relationships from our Columbia, SC, location. Primary Responsibilities:

    • Lead technical engineering, quality assurance/control, and project management activities for municipal and county design and construction projects
    • Support growth and development of the municipal market by creating statements of qualifications, proposals, and presentations; conducting contract negotiations; and participating in professional organizations, advertising, and tradeshows
    • Serve as the client contact for multiple municipal and county clients
    • Deliver projects within budget, schedule, and contractual commitments
    • Negotiate change orders to the scope of work with the client and subcontractors
    • Work closely with relevant permitting agencies
    • Develop technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering designs
    • Provide construction administration as needed
    • Lead, coordinate, and build client teams
    • Establish objectives and provide performance feedback for team members
    • Participate in recruiting activities by attending professional networking events and college career fairs

Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
    • Professional Engineer (PE) License in South Carolina
    • Minimum five years of experience managing projects and client relationships
    • Minimum five years of experience working in the civil engineering consulting industry 

Preferred Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience planning, designing, and constructing public utility projects
