Are you looking for a hands-on internship that puts you at the heart of real-world engineering challenges? Join us as a Civil or Environmental Engineering Intern in Minneapolis, MN for Summer 2026 and gain experience working on projects in solid waste management. From observing landfill construction to assisting with regulatory efforts, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute directly to provide a positive environmental impact. Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct landfill construction observation
- Participate in waste characterization studies
- Assist with the design of landfills, transfer stations, and recycling facilities
- Assist with data analysis and regulatory reporting
- Gain exposure to solid waste planning, including waste diversion and recycling
- Support other project work as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program
Preferred Qualifications:
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
- Previous engineering experience through an internship or co-op
$22 - $25 an hour
The base compensation listed for this job posting reflects a general range for the posted position. Base compensation will vary based on factors such as: years of experience, location, level of responsibility and licenses/certifications. In addition to base compensation, Foth members may be eligible to receive bonuses through our Earned Performance Incentive program. All employees are eligible for On-the-Spot bonuses. Exempt members are also eligible for either quarterly and/or annual bonuses.
