Ready to put your engineering knowledge into practice? At Foth, our internships provide hands-on opportunities to develop technical skills on real projects in a professional setting. As an Electrical Engineering Intern in Battle Creek, MI you will have the unique opportunity to work directly at one of Foth’s client locations. This opportunity is for the Summer of 2026, with the potential of extending into the fall semester. In this role you will collaborate with industry professionals, gain practical experience, and build skills that matter.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Work in an on-site/manufacturing environment to support operations and engineering projects
    • Develop detailed electrical design drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical software packages
    • Program PLC’s and HMI hardware
    • Confirming correct installation and commissioning equipment

Required Qualifications:

    • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program 
    • GPA of 3.0 or greater 

Required previous experience with and/or coursework involving the following

    • AutoCAD training and functionality
    • Theory and/or programming of industrial PLCs
