The Senior Revenue Analyst role reports into our Financial Controller providing a strong mentor and succession plan for future growth. The business is extremely well known for their flexible & supportive approach internally and externally and we are looking to find someone keen to enhance their career in this environment. This opportunity will allow you to build on your current knowledge whilst gaining a wider understanding of accounting and related commercial exposure.

The role . . .

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive global revenue reports by customer, product, segment and region for UK subsidiary.
    • Analyse UK revenue trends, variances, and anomalies to provide insights to senior management.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.
    • Support external audit processes related to revenue recognition and reporting.
    • Identify areas of improvement within the quote-to-cash process and recommend enhancements to drive efficient, consistent, and accurate global reporting.
    • Maintain closed loop global reporting of full customer life cycle from bookings, booking conversions through to revenue; this reporting will assist with budgeting and forecasting of SaaS revenue.
    • Work with wider business to improve processes on reporting and gain operational insight to support forecasting. 
    • Stay current with industry regulations and accounting standards related to revenue recognition.
    • This role will have no people management responsibilities

The ideal candidate . . .

    • ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
    • Revenue experience ideal but not essential
    • Commercial acumen with the ability to work with stakeholders
    • Good understanding of accounting and reporting standards
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
    • Advanced excel skills desired.
    • Experience with NetSuite and/or SalesForce would be preferred but not required.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
