The Billing Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely customer invoicing, regular maintenance of billing accounts and for the general integrity of customer and subscription data in our systems. This position supports Sales, Customer Success and Collections by handling billing requirements and reconciliations on accounts.

The role . . .

    • Understands how billing system works and how data flows between CRM and ERP systems.
    • Communicates with internal and external clients to resolve billing questions. Builds and maintains positive customer relations.
    • Seamlessly manages all recurring billing. Reconciles and analyses monthly billing variance.
    • Credit memo creation – Post approval.
    • Contributes to the team's mission to improve data flows, optimises processes, and ensures accounting output is accurate.
    • Strong team ethos – We support one another to achieve a common goal.
    • Required to support ad hoc projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate . . .

    • 5+ years of recent, relevant experience with invoicing and billing controls, preferably in a SaaS environment.
    • Significant experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP system) and Salesforce. Experience with Zone Billing is a plus.
    • Experience in dealing with external customers, over the phone/email. Must be comfortable with contacting external clients for dispute resolution and have a sense of urgency for addressing internal and external customers’ needs.
    • Able to document and understand processes and system mapping / interface.
    • Excel skills (XLookup, sum-ifs, countif, pivot table, etc.) to be able to create and manipulate reports and dashboards.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong time management skills with ability to juggle simultaneous projects and deadlines.
