The Finance team in the Cheshire office currently consists of 37 employees, and it has been identified that there is a need for an Accounts Assistant to join the team.

The role . . .

    • Ensure purchase invoices are matched to purchase orders and are posted accurately and on a timely basis for our UK based subsidiary (approximately 200 invoices per month).
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues throughout the business to ensure compliance with the procurement process.
    • Deal with vendor queries primarily by email.
    • Effectively work towards set targets including strict month end deadlines.
    • Accurately update customer accounts for our Denver subsidiary with cheques received on a daily basis including download of information from our bank.
    • Assist with Denver customer queries .
    • Assist with the management of the AR ledger for our Denver subsidiary

The ideal candidate . . .

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within an Accounts function
    • Awareness of overall month end processes
    • Good MS Excel skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment
    • Have a systematic approach to work 
    • (Ideal) Experience of working with overseas subsidiaries
    • (Ideal) Familiarity with US organizations and payment methods
