We are seeking a seasoned Senior Payroll Specialist to lead and oversee all facets of day-to-day payroll operations for our esteemed clientele. In this pivotal role, you will meticulously process payrolls for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to stringent bureau metrics targets and Service Level Agreements.

- Execute and deliver customer payrolls, garnishments, employee maintenance, and timesheet consolidation with precision and efficiency.
- Champion excellent service delivery, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy.
- Spearhead end-to-end payroll administration, meticulously managing every aspect of the process.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of current statutory federal and state payroll regulations, ensuring full compliance in all operations.
- Administer payrolls across designated client portfolios, guaranteeing timely and accurate payment for all employees to meet bureau targets.
- Cultivate and nurture strong customer relationships, delivering exemplary customer service aligned with bureau standards.
- Ensure timely receipt of all necessary data from clients and prompt delivery of outputs within bureau targets.
- Address customer queries via phone or email promptly, taking decisive action within established Service Level Agreements.
- Proactively identify and escalate any issues that may impede the seamless operation of client payrolls.
- Keep Client Notes updated with the latest client payroll procedures, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
- Provide expert guidance to clients on Federal and State regulations and internal policies, fostering compliance and understanding.
- Stay abreast of evolving Federal and State regulations through self-learning initiatives and participation in Fourth training sessions.
- Foster collaboration and synergies with internal departments to deliver seamless service to clients.
- Conduct thorough analysis of completed payrolls, identifying trends, inconsistencies, and potential issues, and recommending effective solutions.
- Mentorship of junior payroll specialists providing SME level guidance on various advanced topics such as reporting, GL, complex payrolls, taxes and others
- Leadership in educating team members on multiple updates and new processes as they relate to their job functions.
- Provide support to the junior specialists and escalate to management as needed
The Ideal Candidate. . .
- Proficiency in Prism software is advantageous.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office suite, with expertise in Excel.
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience processing large volume multi-state payrolls.
- Solid grasp of basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional data entry skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a track record of resolving complex issues.
- Superior interpersonal skills, with a knack for building and maintaining strong business relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
