The Payroll Manager with ASO (Administrative Services Outsourcing) experience is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the payroll department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries and related transactions. This role involves implementing efficient processes, staying updated on payroll regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations, with an additional focus on ASO-related tasks.
 
This role, with ASO experience, plays a crucial role in ensuring that employee compensation processes and administrative services run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with regulations, contributing to the overall satisfaction and well-being of the organization's workforce.

The Role. . .

    • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees.
    • Review and verify payroll data, including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
    • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payroll calculations.
    • Utilize ASO experience to manage vendor relationships and optimize outsourced administrative services.
    • Coordinate with ASO partners to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes and data.
    • Stay up-to-date with relevant payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements.
    • Ensure payroll operations and ASO processes adhere to legal and company policies.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance payroll and ASO processes.
    • Implement best practices and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with ASO providers and payroll service vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues that arise.
    • Generate regular payroll and ASO-related reports for management and finance teams.
    • Analyze data for trends and anomalies, providing insights to improve decision-making.
    • Work closely with HR, finance, and IT departments to ensure data integrity and alignment of processes.
    • Collaborate on projects involving payroll data, ASO integration, and process enhancements.
    • Address customer inquiries related to payroll, deductions, taxes, ASO-related matters, and benefits.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to resolve issues promptly.
    • Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits related to payroll and ASO processes.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements.

The Ideal Candidate. . .

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
    • Several years of experience in payroll processing, with a track record of increasing responsibility.
    • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
    • Previous experience in team management and leadership.
    • Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
    • ASO experience, with a solid understanding of administrative services outsourcing processes.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive employee information.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Certification in payroll management (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional - CPP) is a plus.
