Head of Sales

The Head of Sales will be responsible architecting a sales strategy and building out a team of Account Executives and SDR's across enterprise and mid-market sales. You should be a player/coach who can meet your own quota while leading your team and setting them up for success.


    • Build and be responsible for revenue targets
    • Evaluate and facilitate changes to sales strategy, sales process, and workflow to deliver maximum sales and profit growth
    • Maintain weekly sales forecast and achieve quota to ensure revenue objectives
    • Commitment to setting metrics and establishing performance benchmarks for the sales team
    • Manage, develop and coach the team and hold them accountable against these metrics
    • Responsible for leading by example, by consistently helping to open and close doors for the members of your team
    • Develops sales team through recruiting, selecting and growing exceptional sales and account management talent
    • Excitement and passion for the video editing community
    • Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally
    • Work collaboratively across teams - including Engineering, Product and Marketing
    • Work closely with Product and Engineering to define business justification for existing and new product initiatives/recommendations


    • 5+ years of experience in a sales management role
    • Experience selling to brands and their respective agencies
    • Has deep knowledge of media and advertising industry, business cycles, key revenue and expense drivers
    • Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
    • Strong leadership and team building skills
    • Demonstrated track record of exceeding quotas and driving complex sale cycles with numerous stakeholders and buyers
    • Experience working in digital media platforms preferred
    • You have the demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and engage in strategic conversations with senior- and C-level executives at client companies
    • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
    • Experience forecasting revenue and managing to company goals
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling and deadline-oriented environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Willingness to travel
    • BA or BS degree, MBA a plus
