Our Marketing Stack
Segment sits at the foundation of our marketing stack and is used to record customer behavior for everything from product feature adoption, to email activity, to engagement with paid media. User and event data from Segment powers behavioral messaging in AutoPilot, our email service provider. Autopilot has amazing user journey capabilities and third party integrations. We leverage Intercom to send in-app messages to educate users as well as to provide customer support. Both AutoPilot and Intercom data are sent back to Segment for cross-platform usage. All user behavior data is measured in our Analytics tool, Amplitude. We are in the process of combining all transactional app data and user behavior data into a redshift database to perform deeper analyses and unlock new opportunities.

About The Role
As an Email Marketing Lead, you'll be responsible for building, optimizing and scaling our lifecycle email marketing. You’ll work directly with marketing, growth, product and engineering to outline and execute email campaigns and in-app communications to support our users through discovery, onboarding, activation and other key life-stage events with a goal of driving increased product adoption and revenue. You'll architect and maintain user journeys to construct a cohesive communication strategy.

About You
You have 3-7 years of email experience in a fast-paced environment under your belt. You've got a growth mindset with a keen sense of design. You are passionate about email and creative in its implementation. You've had exposure to HTML & CSS, and you can work with designers and engineers to produce well-designed and high-performing communications. You have the analytical chops to measure the performance of your campaigns.
