FreeBalance is seeking a Course Content Specialist (CCS) to join the FreeBalance Academy team. CCS will build interactive modules from predefined content that will facilitate effective learning experiences for online learners. The successful candidate will collaborate with the relevant teams within FreeBalance to ensure that the final training product will provide learners with an effective, engaging learning experience.

 

 

●      Create various styles of content, such as videos with the relevant tone and style, adhering to the respective style guides

●      Design and plan for creating and updating courses and training material.

●      Ability to learn quickly; getting familiar with the FreeBalance solution will be key to building effective e-learning courses

●      Ensure consistent design quality and branding across all material

●      Edit photos, vectors, and videos as needed.

●      Ability to meet new content standards and ensure consistency across all content channels

●      Interacting with various stakeholders in FreeBalance to produce quality content

●      Structured approach to managing content revisions

 

 

 

●      Successful completion of a diploma/ degree in Video Editing, Graphic design, Information and Learning Technologies, or related disciplines

●      A high degree of technical knowledge concerning the production and delivery of digital content is a must

●      Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience building digital instructional design content and videos

●      Strong technical skills with desktop applications, specifically the Microsoft Suite

●      Strong English written communication skills and the ability to manage processes and workflows to publish high-quality content

●      Creative flair and initiative for creating new material

●      Experience with e-Learning Management Systems is considered an asset

●      Knowledge of Synthesia is considered an asset

●      Understanding the adult learning process and user experience principles

●      Demonstrated knowledge of developing storyboards for the creation of eLearning modules and videos is required

●      Strong command of the English language – both comprehension, written and verbal

●      Ability to work under pressure
